The most dangerous people you can be spending time around at this point, are those who say, "I'll never quit fighting," but then, the moment something "bad" happens...instantly step into, "OMG. We're f*cked. It's all over." These people are like poison to your mind and emotions. Stay away.

These 8 useless Democratic Senators are all wealthy and have feathered themselves a lovely retirement nest.
They don't need to be in these positions anymore.
They can amble away into the privileged nothingness that defines their spinelessness and lack of courage.
Demand more and better, folks.

I agree that the Dems don't amount to much, but this is not a done deal.
"Most Democratic senators rejected it, as did many of the party’s lawmakers in the House of Representatives, which will have to vote to approve it before the government can reopen."

I don’t care if Schumer voted no. If he’s unable to wrangle the caucus, he’s not an effective leader. I’ll continue to push for the caucus to elect a new one.

idk which possibility is more damning for Schumer
either
A) he helped orchestrate the fold
OR
B) he genuinely opposed the fold but was so incompetent that he was unable to stop the splinter group from folding
