Following up from the earlier post about the b&w photo on display at the Deutsches Museum, this is the formula for the negative reducer ("Farmer's Reducer") used to bring out highlights in dense negatives, as listed in The Darkroom Cookbook.

An exhibit in the Deutsches Museum in Munich showing how b&w photos can be retouched. The examples date from the 1960s, when current multi-grade photo paper and split grade printing techniques were not available.

Accidental triple exposure taken at my friend's art exhibition (see Instagram: @goodlock_fortune ), as a result of the external flash not firing, but I think this looks more interesting than if the flash did work as I expected.

There seems to be a sense of timelessness in using a low-end camera from 1962 to shoot scenes like this, which could well be mistaken to be a frame as old as the camera itself.
