New York corporate lawyer, now retiree, in Japan. Once was 外国法事務弁護士 (Gaikokuho jimu bengoshi) of the Dai-Ichi Tokyo Bar Ass’n, & was admitted in Massachusetts, too.
What is interesting is that the postwar Japanese constitution draft was written in English (by the U.S.) but the adopted version when translated (& thus definitive) defined “person”to mean “Japanese” (i.e. citizen). So courts have said some rights for citizens don’t apply to foreign residents.

DeAnzahad a nice swimming center. I took lessons there when I visited my aunt & uncle in the late 1970s.

I’m used to them being more square-ish, but that does look good. Need to supply your own mustard?

I had clients who used only one password for all of their emailed files, either their company name or their TSE number identifier. That way they didn’t need to use a follow-up email. Brilliant security.

In the A4 folder version, it notes she’s from Nara. So perhaps the deer holdback their hooves when dealing with a resident.

But compared to her mentor she gets the small pen treatment. 4/fin

Her face on the tea cup is complimentary (say compared to Suga-san). 3/

But I was pleased to see the Takaichi goods — including an A4 folder — show how to treat deer in Nara (spoiler: not by kicking them). 2/

Even worse, if you are a US citizen living & working abroad, you are paying federal taxes that are funding this & without accruing any real or “soft” benefits.

I suppose if you ever move out of Birth City, Sin City is a possible next abode. Free will and all that.

These were left by the Chōshū clan when they bivouacked at Kogenji (a sub-temple of Tenryuji in Kyoto) at the end of the Edo Period. They were on the “expel the barbarians & revere the Emperor” side, fighting to end the Tokugawa Shogunate.
