which Ohio story do you always tell first? // CW: unsanitary, violent, gun violence probably the tale of the Pooper Shooter. its a tragic one, despite the name. but its utterly bizarre. when i was about, maybe 16 years old, i woke up one night at about 3 AM. i dont remember why, but i know i was trying to sleep again. that was when i heard 6 loud bangs. startled, i go downstairs to where my mom was and ask, "did you hear that?" she told me that it was a car backfiring. i was... unsure, but i took her word for it for the time being and tried to go back to bed. moments later, i see police and ambulance lights. i peek out the window. our entire part of the street was taped off with police tape. so naturally, being the extremely anxious kid i was, i come back to my mom. "yeah... those were gunshots. i just told you it was a car to help you rest easier." the days following, i find out the story behind the shooting. apparently, a man was defecating in one of my neighbors yard. just, straight up pooping on some random person's property, a couple come walking by and witness this man, and one of them tells him that hey, you cant just do that man. so the thing this man thought was the right course of action, was to whip out his gun and fire into the couple six fucking times in the chest. apparently the woman of the couple was injured while the other man was either in critical condition or dead. ...i wish i were making this up. but my mom, my sister, and several neighbors were all there at the time and they can recount it.

i should also note that i do not experience friendship decay.
when you have not been in contact with someone for longer do you delete the chat history? it really depends. if its just because we've been both busy, most likely not. if the relationship ended in some way or another, then probably yeah.
