In his spoken testimony he betrays his politics. It's worth watching the sessions on the UCPI website.

If you listen to his evidence you can tell from the things he does reveal about himself. He may be toeing the Met Police line on many things but he is definitely betraying his own political opinions in the way he speaks about those individuals/organisations that he sees as the enemy of the state.

He didn't have to be persuaded. It's clear from his testimony that he is quite right-wing.

You're not alone, there's lots of us. Search for phantosmia or anosmia. I had a phantom burning smell for five months after I had C19 very early on. It was so bad it would wake me up at night. It started to become intermittent after that but I do still get it over five years on, mainly when I'm ill.
