Our new paper just dropped: we tested whether people confuse virtual reality with reality.
Spoiler: They do!
Some even tried to sit on virtual chairs.

As someone with firsthand experience with kidney stones, I can confirm that VR rocks (pun intended) for pain relief! Fun fact: Years ago, my go-to VR app was Fantasynth. According to Steam, I spent 9h in it, although it’s just a 7min music experience. #VRcademicSky

This week, I attended our consortium meeting in Porto for the PRESENCE project, a EU with 17 partners from 11 countries. It was wonderful to finally meet some colleagues in person after knowing them only through video calls—and to experience some impressive haptic devices firsthand! #VRcademicSky
