A frustrating thing about python and ruby is the dependency management. And I've come around to golang instead since its relatively simple, but still compiles into a single binary like rust so you don't need to stress about having the right gems installed etc. Might not be a concern for you tho

That's disappointing. I spent time setting it up and theming it and got a bunch of crashes which lines up with what you said 🥲

As I understand it Its specifically a reaction to the Hellenisation of the Levant. Jewish folk did not want their culture to be eroded by Greek influence which was the dominant culture at the time.

There's also an electron one called pulsar which seems to be a little more feature rich porn but still much lighter than vscode and no ai bloat

Actually after googling around some more I found Lapce which has a similar ui, but written in rust and is open source etc. No ai features or bloat and seems to have LSP support built in.

I'm in a similar place re moving on from vscode. I've been using codium for years but given how crap vscode has gotten I'm looking at alternatives and it's kinda surprising how few there are? Honestly at this point I'd love a neovim config that replicates vscode ootb 🥲

I found a tracker helpful to validate my experience up to a point but once you confirm that when you wake up feeling like shit you did in fact sleep badly they stop being useful. Mostly though I just doubled my prog and now I sleep amazing every night 😂

That's Fundamentally what leadership is, someone who has a vision of how things could be and can effectively communicate that to people and inspire them. There's just been such a dearth of actual leaders on either side.

When ms initially forked it it was way less bad but yikes its taken a nose dive lately. I really need to learn how to use neovide or something
