FIRST EVER hospitalization- I guess 64 years is not a bad run. The patient notes are quite illuminating. They do like to bandy about the words “morbidly obese” - but at least I officially have a “pleasant demeanor.” Or maybe it’s just the “fat people are jolly” trope.

“terroir” tasting of Claude Riffault Sancerre wines - one missing (my favorite Les Boucauds), included 2 reds and a rosé (meh). I have many thoughts, but my main takeaway is that this guy makes too many wines.
