We ran on making Cambridge an affordable and dignified city to live in, and making sure the most vulnerable people are heard. Everyday issues for working people were the driving force behind our campaign, and we will carry their voices into City Hall.

I am so grateful for everyone who has worked so hard on this campaign. All that work comes down to this. I know from experience that every vote matters. Please text your friends and make sure they have a plan to vote by 8pm!

I am so grateful for this endorsement from Erin Axelman, the director of @israelismfilm.com. We both know that the only true safety is shared safety, and our fight for dignity is a fight for dignity for ALL.

I am so grateful for the community that we have built through this campaign. My name is on the ballot, but this is about all of us.

@mikeconnollyma.bsky.social is our OG democratic socialist state rep, and his leadership continues to pave the way for a rising cadre of bold leftist leaders changing the status quo on Beacon Hill. I am so grateful for his support in our race for Cambridge City Council.

The disastrous lapse in SNAP benefits has put a spotlight on food insecurity — an issue that was already getting worse here, especially with the loss of the Daily Table. But we can fill that void, while giving the grocery chains some healthy competition. It's time for a city-owned grocery store.

Housing is a human right — and should be treated as a public good. Our campaign's vision is to leverage government resources for permanent affordability.

It's true! And if you want to learn how to dance like this too, join us this Sunday at 1 for a special canvass sponsored by our friends at Cambridge For Palestine and the Nahda Project. bit.ly/ayah4pali

It takes more than one person to change things in a city of almost 120,000. It takes a movement — and that is what we are building.

At the heart of this campaign is a simple idea: everyone deserves dignity. And when we say everyone, we really mean everyone.

That is why I am so honored to accept the #1 endorsement of Cambridge for Palestine.

As we enter the final stretch, I am so grateful for all the groups showing their support and alignment with our values. Huge thanks to @32bjseiu.bsky.social, Our Revolution Cambridge, the Cambridge Residents Alliance, and CIR/SEIU for backing our people-powered campaign.

Join us this Saturday at 10am for a transportation canvass! Our streets should be interconnected, safe, and vibrant — so all Cambridge residents can move around with dignity. 🚴

Turns out a lot of people don't even know there is an election coming up. Today we met Patrick, who literally lives under a rock. He was really excited about our plans to make dignified housing affordable for all!

Come join us on a canvass & help get the word out!

Climate change is happening NOW, which means more flash floods. Cambridge needs to get more proactive in addressing our sewer overflows, which expose residents to dangerous untreated wastewater. I support better infrastructure in Alewife Brook + other climate solutions to address this. #mapoli

Shana tova to the Cambridge Jewish community as Rosh Hashanah begins tonight!

In our campaign, we know that Arab, Jewish, and Muslim safety are intertwined EVERYWHERE, and we’re committed to fighting for all of our people in the new year.

Affordability goes to the heart of our values. What kind of Sanctuary City are we, if we force our most vulnerable out? Standing up to Trump is one part of the fight. Keeping our community inclusive, affordable, and dignified is the other.

Make no mistake, these issues are interconnected.

Social housing just makes sense. It creates truly mixed-income communities. It's self sustaining. And it can add hundreds of new homes across the city, including many that are deeply affordable. Projects that are publicly owned & democratically controlled.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our Launch Party last Tuesday! It was so empowering to be in community with 150+ people that believe in our vision of a Cambridge that is dignified & affordable for all.

It’s going to take all of this to win a seat in City Hall so join us! votealzubi.com
