Prediction is very difficult, especially about the future.
In this case the 1.2billion saved and the speed of build is clearly to the benefit of the BC tax payer. If we are opposed to buying the ferries from China I am guessing you think BC should stop selling the 2B in wood pulp to China every year? Or are we just “sort of” moral?

As much as 60B in incentives for the long overdue modernization and east west connection of our energy grid. It will do more to create a foundation that accelerates our transition (generation, storage, EV networks) that reduce emissions than any single move by any government in Canadian history.

If congress votes for release of the Epstein files with a veto proof majority it’s probably President Vance in 2026.

Absolutely NO one wants an election, pointless question

To make non partisan but if we don’t do it with AI and collaborate world wide, we might as well just call Sarah Conner now.

I just went to the 3 day Hinton Lectures about AI safety and it was eye opening. A prof Owain Evans is worth checking out. The Government has launched an AI ministry and is taking it seriously but this is an issue we must demand is non partisan and everyone gets on board. Lots of things we need to

Very ethnocentric societies, culturally aligned that greatly reduce and control immigration and have strong social democratic values. Canada has taxes that are higher than most countries and strong social programs but the gap doesn’t narrow. So it’s not as simple as raising taxes.
November 15, 2025 at 9:04 PM
1st, from an American perspective it would help narrow the gap if and only if, the US decided to redistribute wealth into social programs things that help improve lives. France has high taxes but fails in narrowing the gap. Finland Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden do better but those are also

If the NDP wants my vote they can’t parrot Mandami or the same political rhetoric and the old NDP economic policies. Tax the Rich and spend on social programs will not create economic equality. We need bold & creative ideas to dramatically evolve capitalism, keep what works and change what doesn’t.

Pasta Dumping? Seriously that can’t be a real thing. Not like flooding the world with artificially cheap oil.

I didn’t know Facebook was still around

I don’t give a shit what either of those guys say.

It’s more military strength than most countries and more air power than China and Russia, the “opposition”
is basically Che Guevara with a 1946 bolt action rifle.

The more interesting question is how far will they go to create one? Sink a naval vessel? Kidnap an American that doesn’t exist? WMD or does V have the previously unreported largest fentanyl production facility on earth?

All fair points, but I’ve decided, and have written to my MP that I want our CDN to work with people of all backgrounds, build bridges create discussions and get experts and community leaders talking so Canada creates a more unified and comprehensive foreign policy that all people can support.

I love how they just buried the whole Tom InHoman getting cash in a bag directly from an FBI agent in a sting. The public let them get away it. 🤯

When the UK, of all countries, publicly declare they aren’t sharing intelligence with an ally, and state the Caribbean attacks are murder, I don’t need much convincing that it’s murder.

Carney will support the increased capacity as in the article, I believe most of the mainline expansion is in the US. I think Smith knows there won’t be a new pipeline and is laying groundwork for blame. My guess is Carney will approve nuclear and grids + something else in AB and Sask as NB projects
November 15, 2025 at 3:34 PM
There was Canadian built technology on the planes the US planes that attacked Iran. I sure didn’t support that. Everyone trades with everyone, I’m not sure about that connection but maybe I’m wrong.
November 15, 2025 at 3:26 PM
The whole Canadian vehicles connection is a bit weak. I can’t imagine the amount of Canadian raw materials and technology that have been involved to build military equipment around the world, from from friend and foe alike. Ford isn’t to blame if someone uses an F150 in a bank robbery.
November 15, 2025 at 3:26 PM
Where is the private money and guaranteed sales volumes for a new western pipeline? I thought National Projects need led by the provinces? All I’ve heard from Smith is a call to cut regulations and then “miraculously” investors will come forward. Doesn’t sound like how KSI was approved.
