I've been busy pulling various tricks to make the site be snappier. Not fully there yet. But the overlay glitch is definitely annoying. There's one bug I fixed before that was doing that already, there's probably a second one. React data merging is hard.
But right now, I need to sleep...

Housing is a bit of a placeholder for now. They sort of function like a public bookmark. Some of the planned features I have is to let preds be "house crashers", and tentatively bulk-grab everyone in it.

For what I do, yes, it's slightly cheaper. But costs are virtually the same here.
With 2 replicas, I was projected to between $50 and $85 a month of compute. With 8 that might set me back to $120 to $160. We'll see.
The stats page has a direct pull of my billing page, which is still empty for now.

So, when I started it, voresky was running on 2 servers (or replicas), and it was fine up until... eeeeh, around when we reached 1500 concurrent users.
I've bumped it to 8 servers now.
