Elect 50 Dems to the Senate, abolish the filibuster, & then immediately pass a bill that makes the Senate a purely advisory body. We do the will of the people in the House (which we should dramatically expand). We consult the Senate when we want an opinion from septuagenarian oligarchs.

The US Senate is a worthless institution that has, with a few very brief exceptions, been a reactionary force in the US for all its history, holding back progress, holding back the will of the voters, upholding a grossly oligarchic, patriarchal, racist hierarchy. Flush it down the toilet.
