I like to think we have the possibility of evolving to be better than we are. The alternative offered by the show solves some of our short-term issues but offers a pretty bleak and stagnant prospect for humanity’s future.

okay but where are these happy, calm, kind adults of whom you speak?

The structural scarcity and hierarchical attitudes that dominate our culture makes it very difficult for any of us to be happy, calm, and kind most of the time. Capitalism traumatizes us all.

I dunno, even if there was video evidence and he admitted it and even bragged about it, why would that change anything?

It’s not like everyone doesn’t already know.

This is always how the old guard does this, Dems + MAGA alike. They are like ostriches sticking their heads in the sand and think we don't see them selling us out over and over again. And maybe before, we didn't see them. But boy do we see their entitled asses sticking up now.

Those are reasons to *not* vote for Cuomo. I am delighted to be voting *for* someone who wants to support women, the elderly, and all of us.

New York is an extremely diverse, cosmopolitan city.

Reducing candidates to their demographics & voting for the one whose race, religion, etc., most closely resembles your own might be a thing elsewhere, but we New Yorkers need someone who can promote policies that benefit everyone who lives here.
