Proctor ergo, proctor hoc - after this, therefore because of this.

Philosophy, economics, politics, football, Wales, UK, climate change, gaming, LOTR, Dinosaurs and the stars.
Well done to them. If only those in Washington had that much backbone.

Perhaps they might find it as they hurtle towards oblivion next November.

The next question is who has advocated for them to be on the BBC so much in recent years. BBC must have an internal process for nominating guest panelists and approving them.

Where is our Der Spiegel? Once upon a time even our right wing media would have been revolted at the idea of a different country interfering in our politics. Now it is apparently okay as long as they are on their side.

I think he means such strong results for a dementia diagnosis and narcissistic sociopathy.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social @lbc.co.uk Colour nobody shocked.

Weak? Alright Donald.

Couldn't agree more. It is clear that there's a number of people on Bluesky who honestly believe that if we just tell him to fuck off, it will all be fine and to hell with our economy and our military if he cuts us off.

I wonder what plunging our economy into an extreme recession might do...

Don't drink and skeet kids.

Distracting and deflecting the orange man baby is not the same as letting him do what he wants.

Starmer having regular meetings of the Coalition of the Willing and the E3 tells me you are talking bollocks. The leak of their call last week tells me they know the risks and dangers Trump poses.
December 10, 2025 at 4:45 PM
Consider the secondary impacts of Starmer calling out Trump on his racism, his attacks on democracy, his corruption, his attempted betrayals of Ukraine.

Trump has the power to kill our economy and disable our military. Tell me what happens to the party that causes that? Tell me what party follows.

Yes but Ann, we would still have our morals. They will keep us warm at night.

My opinions are my own, they do not conform to the stereotypes you want them to.

I know that is something you must find difficult to imagine.
December 10, 2025 at 3:23 PM
I do not preclude the possibility that I am wrong.

It could very well but that nobody thought to ask the PM how to respond to this issue before his spokesperson took questions but in my view it happens far too often for it to be a mistake.
December 10, 2025 at 3:12 PM
You started this little rant by having a go at me "imagining" what I think Starmer is doing.

You then proceed to imagine what you think I support and who I vote for.
December 10, 2025 at 3:10 PM
Read the words I said. I did not say any of those things. Go back to Twitter if you are looking for a right winger to take your anger out.
December 10, 2025 at 3:01 PM
I have not voted for anyone since 2024. Who gets my vote in 28/29 is dependent on, amongst many other things, which party puts forward a sensible progressive agenda that protects everyone's rights.

Politics isn't a zero sum game. I can support some policies without being a diehard zealot.
December 10, 2025 at 2:57 PM
Exactly this.

There's a demand for a running commentary on everything from the media and because Starmer doesn't give it the story is he's weak and doing nothing.

Maybe he is, but the fact he had Macron, Merz and Zelensky here on Monday and he's constantly speaking to all of them say he is not.
December 10, 2025 at 2:55 PM
I back none of those things.
December 10, 2025 at 2:52 PM
None of that means I agree with everything Labour are doing and many of the decisions make me want to find a sound proofed room and scream but there is an almost hysterical frenzy surrounding him now and very few journalists are even bothering to dig deeper than the surface to understand decisions.
December 10, 2025 at 2:50 PM
Precisely. I think on the international stage he has been walking the high wire and in the main part been successful.

Every time Trump has tried to betray Ukraine so far, Starmer has arrived with something shiny and a distraction for the man baby. I worry that road has run out though.

Her behaviour, particularly her attacks on Reeves, appeal to simpletons?
