I just did not understand why the editor sent it out for review at the first place if that’s what their reasoning was. But anyhow, not the end of the world

I submitted a manuscript to that journal. 3 very good reviews and requesting minor revisions. But get rejected because I opted for green access, and the editor’s excuse was that it was not competitive. My paper was published to a much better journal thereafter
