Learned to drive in USA; whenever I’m back in the UK driving on the left is no problem. But the rear view mirror? In the wrong place? So have to look up to the left instead of up to the right?? I CANNOT reverse in the UK. Just can’t.

Aged aunt once told me “England for the English who’ve always been here” and…like…my great-grands included Scots & Jewish & Roma & Spanish. My bro-in-law is Polish, SIL is French, & I married an American — so who are these mythical English people?!
