Our planet is burning and people still having babies, so I think it tracks 🤷

It's a metaphor, people continue to have children when the real world is fucked up and terrifying and you can't protect them.

I never see anyone talk about this, but I was completely pulled out of the movie because of this!! The schoolhouse scene was wild, I don’t know why more people weren’t bothered by it.
