What this article fails to mention is that Germany, more than any other European nation, under Baerbock‘s leadership as foreign secretary, actively supported the Genocide, diplomatically in the UN , voting against cease fires, and justifying IDF‘s attacks on civilian targets, and militarily…

Few politicians in the EU have supported the Genozide as much as Baerbock. That is the sad record. I hope the day will come when the German Green Party will reckon with its complicity.

On a larger point, I disagree with the tradition to errect monuments for presidents. No need for this cult of personalty. Like everyone else, they are imperfect. The sorereign is the people. Let's celebrate them.

As a matter of fact, I believe most people, regardless of gender or other democraphic markers, aspire to this. I am a Feminist myself, ascribing to the school of thought that believes Feminism is antisexist. Lemme know if you disagree, I support everyone's right to participate in pluralistic debate.

True. The only thing that gives me pause is that the letters are not painted in fake gold. Other than that, it looks like a Trump stunt. Rest assured, these letters will come down fast the day some semblance of sanity returns to the White House.
