I think a lot of people specifically associate egg hunts with getting hats. I understand that the $30 Paid Access is for the development of all the good story gameplay, but it does still miss the eggspectation.

but it really shows how the price for awarding UGC is fucky and the system can't even be used in ways it was designed to.

I mean, if we're going to have age estimation, I'd rather it be with a program than human. Images are deleted immediately and not used for training. And I don't think Roblox has any reason to do otherwise. But the idea of age estimates seems fundamentally unhelpful here.

(3/3) It’s a forced measure by Roblox’s commitment to child safety, and it ultimately leads to a dead internet aura. I wish parents could take some responsibility for their children on the internet and not expect a padded room.

(2/3) It’s generally really bad for the platform. It means less people can talk with eachother, there is additional friction to participate socially on the platform, and it creates unease around privacy.
