Wouldn't be a bad idea really.
Hell, back in its prime, the catalog artwork was a MAJOR selling point for Lionel, and it's a reason why people thnk that artwork still looks great to this day.

A very late tribute to the late Britt Allcroft, but after the recent auction, I was inspired to do my own version of the famous Lady painting from Thomas and the Magic Railroad.

For a company wanting to get new blood into the model train hobby, putting AI-generated slop on your products is probably the LAST thing you’d want to do to appease younger collectors and operators.

Also, this just looks ugly.
Lionel LLC promoting an exclusive boxcar for New York Comic Convention that unfortunately used AI-generated imagery printed on the car, showing both sides of the car and a very ugly looking AI-generated Lion that looks like a superhero saying “Leo - King of the Jungle.” And “Subway” next to a newspaper headline saying “Lionel Telegraph - Hero Saves Beloved Pet” with text all in caps above the NYCC logo.

This is far from my best work as I quickly ran out of time, but I'm happy I was able to get it done at all.

With the Allegheny recently added to the fleet, I found this really nice Chesapeake & Ohio M930-type caboose to match it. It needs a little TLC and cleaning, but whoever built and painted this did a fine job.
Best of all, it's already got Kadees on it, so no conversion process is needed.

Now acquired - my second 3rd Rail Sunset model - the Chesapeake & Ohio H8 Allegheny!

I wasn't fully happy with either MTH or Lionel's versions, so when this came up for a really low price, I immediately made an offer.

Needless to say, it's one of the finest detailed models in my collection.

Here's something a bit out of left field.
I found this handsome Lionel LEGACY Mikado from around 2012 lettered for the Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range and decided "Why not?"
Considering it's been well used and the price I paid, I'm not worried about heavily modifying it.
