Excited with these news. We've been following this case for our documentary "I'm Alaa Hamoudi: Anatomy of an illegal pushback" for a long time. Alaa Hamoudi deserves a fair closure to his sad story. Fingers crossed, yeah! 🤞
Big news! On 18 December 2025 – the International Migrants Day – the @eucourtofjustice.bsky.social will deliver its judgment in Hamoudi v Frontex. Alaa Hamoudi and his legal team have been waiting four years for this moment of truth.

Excited with these news. We've been following this case for our documentary "I'm Alaa Hamoudi: Anatomy of an illegal pushback" for a long time. Alaa Hamoudi deserves a fair closure to his sad story. Fingers crossed, yeah! 🤞

We pitched our doc Homeland Security at @sunnysidedoc.bsky.social festival weeks ago (yes, this is a very late post, but sometimes life gets in the way and you're always running behind). After wonderful days of networking with new possible allies for the doc, we returned full of energy again.
