If a government does come making a request to take something down, Steam should share it for all to see.

If you see a company practicing some form of puritanical censorship, or coming up with a policy that's censorious, you should call it out. #SaveSpeech #civilliberties

Here's why.

You have to understand that these companies attend the same events, mingle with each other, talk to each other,

While I'm not discounting the privacy implications for users in Japan, there are more for users *outside of the country*.
There are people who talk like it's a streaming service or another like service. But, it's not quite. There are privacy implications that are especially relevant with this particular kind of service.

I'm reading an OSA take that is so silly. They talk as if this arbitrary standard that a few people in the U.K. came up with (and even there, the censorship is controversial) is a "natural standard" for the world.

I'd say FF6 is the best in the series. In part because they develop the characters in a way the previous ones don't, they have more personality.

Some of the later games take themselves too seriously.

🍁AUTUMN AT KYŌTO'S GREAT WALL🧱

During fall Kitano Tenmangū allows guests to enjoy the maples that grow along the Odoi (御土居). Now mostly leveled, this great berm was created by Toyotomi Hideyoshi to encircle and define the boundaries of the city.

I don't really understand why Germany gets held up as a representation of "Europe", including when someone wants to point to Europe being a free place.

It's actually one of the most fussy countries.

The police in NSW, Australia specifically going out of their way to investigate "satanic" abuse is quite something. It just seems like a strange thing to specifically prioritize.

VTM: Bloodlines 2.

I'm following a bit of the discourse around this. People are criticizing that it feels sanitized. Yeah, that doesn't sound good. Something which was an interesting part of the previous game was how they added in nightlife like nightclubs and prostitutes.

Apparently, a website containing a copy of the Bible is blocked in the U.K. due to the OSA.

The more I look into Resolver, the more fake it feels. They have like these "testimonials" attributed to generic labels like "Global toy company" and no name.

It's clearly unconstitutional but the Court is dodging the question in this one case.
