This is what I’ve been worried about when they announced HB will be on Prime too. I hoped that they wouldn’t be restricted by Amazon like they are on Hazbin but I guess there are consequences after all 😭💔

I love Hazbin and I always will, but Amazon treats Hazbin so weird by comparison. How can it be so important with less content even down to Amazon's merch handling. I love HB but God damn, I waited longer for Hazbin and somehow still getting less with it official.

I distinctly remember people saying things like "Can Viv stop working on Helluva so she can get to Hazbin?!" as if time crunch was the issue and not, you know, the process of getting your show into a major studio and finding a distributor, and not knowing how the animation industry works

This angers me. :( the fact that they're not treating Helluva with the same respect, and that it's being delayed because of it, honestly takes away my for watching season 3 of Hazbin if it comes out sooner. I know is on Amazon, but even knowing the reasoning behind it really frustrates me.

Hence why Season 3 of Helluva Boss still isn't done with recording because Hazbin Hotel is still being worked on and again, Hazbin has to take priority.

But he does state that he hopes Helluva Boss will get it's time to shine when Season 3 comes out, which he believes is sometime next year.

Richard feels that the issue Helluva Boss has, being on Prime- is the fact that it's essentially a spinoff show with more episodes and more content than the main flagship.

Therefore, he states that Amazon doesn't feel the need for Season 3 to come out quick

In Amazon's eyes Hazbin takes priority.
