Finished my largest painting yet this weekend!!! 36" x 36"
I'm calling it "Daydreamer"
I did this during the Art of Flow 5 Day Adventure with Gabbi Kitchener. Such a fun approach to all the different layers, every person's art was completely different! Really enjoyed making this one!

My 1st successful (& hopefully durable) Russian join on this sock, using Ol' Reliable Top Down Socks pattern by Tanis Fibre Arts.
Yes I am using a different yarn, using up some part balls I had left. Plus this is a camo colourway, so I can say hubby has camo-toe 😁

"Loaves and Fishes"
A mixed media piece I created for an art show this summer. It's collage, and includes 96 bread tags as the fish scales. The background is several layers of acrylic paint with drops of alcohol dropped on it for the bubbles. Lots of fun to create!!!

The Lonely Tree
(RIP) This tree was a lonely sentinel of shade at the Goderich beach for many years, and I took many photos of it, but this is my fav. Sadly it washed away due to high water levels on the lake.

Today's #ArtAdventCalendar is a bunch of affirmation cards I made to hype myself up for the surgery! After the surgery, I didn't need them anymore, so I wrote a thank you note to the awesome hospital staff and left the cards for them. They were thrilled and I was so glad to return their kindness 💜💜💜

Had surgery today, to remove my pelvic mesh which was causing injuries to nerves and organs, so I'm a little late posting today's #ArtAdventCalendar pic!
A simple mixed media piece I made while working thru a LOT of feels from being terminated due to my disabilities. It hurt but I understand why.

Here's today's installation of #ArtAdventCalendar - a neurographic style acrylic mixed media piece I painted for a brain injury awareness art show at a local gallery. Our brain injury support group, under the BIALR made these during a support group meeting. Art has been such good therapy for me!
