Honestly, though, this is the role any Fiorentina fan was born to play. None of us had any idea how to behave when the team went to 3 finals in 2 years. Jaded irony is way more of a Tuscan mindset and I for one am delighted to be back in my wheelhouse, which is basically the Jaguars guy.

Only so long a club can get away with papering over cracks until the whole thing comes tumbling down. The warning signs were there last year, and following that up with a disastrous summer only accelerated the collapse. It's a case study in how to destroy a good team.
