I sometime make chiptune music and programming related stuff, otherwise I mostly ramble about life and shitpost when I am bored late at night.

Yep, it looks like it's officially Winter where I live.

It's definitely been a while since I used Corrscope because wow it's nice to see Waveforms without having them go all over the place like it used to be.
Rendering video now, yay :3

Alright then, I guess I'm settled to render the Badass Oscilloscope View Video now that I'm 100% sure I synced up everything, and confirmed the Polycounter Timing Reset is indeed working on Real Hardware!
I'll be back a bit later with a new video upload if everything goes well :3

It looks like the Polycounter Timing Reset might have worked perfectly on Real Hardware!
Topmost Track is Master Audio, recorded during Pass 1, which is essentially the full Playback with all Channels enabled.
Subsequent Tracks are the Individual Channels, recorded during Passes 2 to 5.
Nice! 🐱

Oh yeah I forgot to say I recorded everything a little bit earlier.
I was away for a moment but now I can finally do the splicing and editing part for making a badass Oscilloscope View Video! 🐱

Recording Channel 4 now, it's almost finished.
There will be the Main's Hum Noise Pass to be recorded after that, and that should be about it I think.
The only thing left to do once I have everything recorded is to Mix and Match every Click Points, and then reduce the Noise in the Master Audio.

3 Passes done so far.
The song loops after like 7 minutes and I wanted to record them both with the Fadeout effect, so I pretty much have to wait the entire time for each Playback, lmao!

Man that tiny 1 Frame "click" sound will save me so much time later for syncing channels together.
It's almost as if I thought about every possible details before I ran this new experiment 🐱

Boy would it be a shame if Audacity was also broken right now.
That would be midly annoying otherwise. 😼

Ready to record 6 Audio Passes now!
Why 6 Passes? For Noise reduction since it would actually record the Main's Hum and CPU Workload as Noisy artifacts.
If I use it to reduce the noise from all 5 Passes, it will yield a crispy clean signal!

Ok so anyway, accidental discovery awe aside, I was going to record audio so I'll just go do that now lol

Well, anyway, I accidentally figured out how to display my Atari 800XL very nicely on my shitty tiny LCD HDTV, so that's pretty nice!
I'm legit wondering how it will behave with my PAL machine plugged in...
I need to test that later and see for myself lol

So yeah, Luma only plugged into Y and I get the sharpest image with colours somehow???
If anyone has an explanation for that I'll be very happy because I'm very confused right now.
It's a "Task failed successfully" kind of moment right now lol

TIL my tiny LCD TV can somehow take the S-Video/Luma-Chroma signal if I put the Luma cable into the Y port, and that's about it.
I have no idea how it can get colours without Chroma plugged in, but it still looks 1000x better than Composite video, which would have been plugged into the Y port.
