Aliviane is the primary provider of prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery services in West Texas for men, women and adolescents. It also coordinates a strong network of community support and an array of interagency agreements to provide a continuum of care.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting with the Executive Director of Mothers Demand Action, Angela Ferrell-Zabala, as well as a delegation from Students Demand Action! It was inspiring to see individuals dedicated to common sense gun laws for our state.

My team had an inspiring meeting with members of the League of Women Voters! It’s an honor to reflect on the incredible work of League of Women Voters and the lasting impact of former speaker of the house and El Pasoan, R. Ewing Thomason, who played a pivotal role in in El Paso and Texas.

Understanding your rights is one of the most empowering tools you can have when dealing with law enforcement or federal immigration authorities. Every individual is entitled to fundamental civil liberties under the U.S. Constitution and civil rights legislation.
