Someone called Mirah recently complained about delays in a DSA statement on Iran. We “do not see the urgency of this matter, as millions of lives in the region [are] at stake.”

I was in awe that someone imagined a strongly worded statement would save the lives of my family & friends in/around Iran

The phrase, “a statement-oriented approach to internationalism,” made me LOL until it sunk in that this is exactly what so many people practice.
