He’s right though. This is skirting campaign finance laws, not the purpose of the few paid employees of most campaigns and a distraction from its actual mission. Plenty of ways to build these kinds of orgs (they exist) without dragging in campaigns.

Not 100% sure, but I think transcoding has gotten a lot better on the AMD side. I have an AMD mini pc and Plex handles it without issue.
