No matter the changing circumstances, telling Syrians who are already waiting on an application that those applications have been "paused", with no idea for how long, or if they will ever be processed, leaves people in yet more limbo, which has a serious impact on their mental and physical health.

When we left England for Canada we left behind the best neighbour, Sylvia. The cat distribution network means she always has kitties. We called in to see her and met Jet, left and Ziggy.
