Really? Lol xD Yea, the market hasn’t changed a ton but to get into the fun stuff vs the boring stuff means getting involved in research, which rn has almost zero funding 🥲 and i dont wanna pay the university to do my own independent research. Maybe it’s better abroad? :/ it’d be more $$$ tho

Tho since u do have a degree in it and experience can I ask u a question? What is the industry like/how hands on it it? I’m debating between forestry or food systems (cus both are super interesting to me) but I want something hands on where i can be outside DOING something rather than in an office!

It happens all the time! Food waste is super common in the US, with so much being wasted before it even reaches grocery store shelves. If ya ever wanna get more bothered, look up the food grading system and how we throw away perfectly good food because it’s not “pretty” enough!

Valid! Part of writing is having lived a life to write about! That’s part of the reason I’ve been taking a pause/stuck. And yea 😅 i started writing on Quotev in 7th grade, tried wattpad/goodnovel but never liked it. My goal now is to try kindle direct publishing at some point

Sure! As far as writing goes, my first finished novel is a psychological thriller about a woman who is stalked and her mental struggle/decline as the stalking continues. It’s not perfect, but it’s the first story I’ve ever finished! My other ones I wrote in middle school and are super cringy 😅

My favorite Hopper piece is Rooms By The Sea! He really captures a quiet, unique feel.

I’d love to be a translator and the one flying/diving/climbing trees for a research group- life is too short to be stuck in a lab :)
