If "all things are politics" then your assertion becomes "I have an incomplete understanding of all things." I hope we can agree that this holds for everyone, political scientist or otherwise.

A simple refutation: the fact that there are infinitely many prime numbers is not political.

Perhaps one source of confusion, then, is the massive oversimplification that occurs between whatever nuanced view you actually hold and its easily refutable three word summary.

Genuine question for those who make this claim: is this an axiom to you, or something that may be falsified with enough evidence? In what sense, if any, is this different from a priest declaring that all (including atheism) flows from God?
