Writing notes for myself to try and get a better handle on things.

The number one in-universe genre for girls is still currently Submarines, followed by princesses and horses. The average Navigator in these stories is kidnapped by pirates or smugglers three times a week.

I don’t play a lot of new games, or anything made in the last long while apart from, like, VNs, so I can still look at these graphics and think “wow, that looks really good”.

I always really liked the tavern interiors, and how each one had a variety of different booze options with zero gameplay difference(?) apart from the price to get your character smashed with.

Comics from India are really interesting to me because the English they use always comes across as very proper and sincere, for lack of a better way to phrase it.

The way that old British children’s books hy-phe-nate e-ve-ry word so that little kids can learn to read with them’s always been interesting to me because it imposes its own cadence and forces you to slow down a tiny little bit
