She also said her mother has had 5 shots and covid 4 times so implied that’s proof boosters don’t work? Seems to me that’s really poor infection control in longterm care but what do I know I guess.

That’s exactly what my partner said! We aren’t talking cloth masks here, I was in a sealed N95. It’s not the only layer to consider but it’s not useless.
