Brook doesn't care about reputation as she's grounded, job focused & likes to let her work speak for itself. This does shift however when she moves to Treviso as life in Antiva- the internal politics of the Crow's etc is very different to what shes used to & she wants to get it right, for Lucanis.

TLDR - after her biological parents death Brook was raised by single dad Legatus Charon Mercar, after a shaky start he was an excellent Papa to her so they remain extremely close. She is very much like Charon in many ways but most notably humour & determination that verges on stubborness.

If Brook was made to choose it's either Lucanis eyes or hands.The soft way he always looks at her, with his big brown puppy eyes certainly makes her knees weak but his hands are so skilled-both gentle & deadly-plus as they took things so slowly hand touches were their first form of physical intimacy

Brook has had an array of aliases- River, Rill and Missy to name three, so on occasion she is called by one of these by someone she worked undercover with or just came in to contact with at that time. It doesn't bother her it just reinforces the cover worked well and shes good at her job.

Brook was found on a battlefield by Legatus Mercar as a newborn sliced diagonally across her torso from shoulder to hip. She only survived thanks to the dedication of the Armys Soporati field medics. The has a few other scars - mostly from childhood mischief and combat.
