This one works for pies, tarts, fruit or meat. My fav go to, I've been using for years and years. www.marthastewart.com/317858/pate-...
Our All-Butter Pâte Brisée Is the Only Pie Dough You’ll Ever Need
Pâte brisée is the French version of shortcrust pastry. We use this versatile all-butter dough for all kinds of pies and tarts. It's our go-to pie dough.

One that is on the top of the list is a student told me I was C3P0 to his R2D2.

That is so good. (I love all the suggestions that have come from this post!)

I need to find some more recipes. That sounds glorious.

I did a stuffed pumpkin years ago. Liked it!!

Since posting that, I've been thinking about how you'd use pumpkin and garlic. Not pie for sure. If it was with chicken, a pumpkin-y sauce, maybe. Savory absolutely. Maybe a cornbread infused with pumpkin, garlic would work. A little rosemary. Pumpkin stew, like a squash stew, would work.

Same. Not a comedy.

I'll google that recipe. I still want to try to 40 garlic clove roasted chicken recipe, but I don't want to peel that many garlic.
November 25, 2025 at 1:08 AM
Same. You can't have too much garlic, roasted esp, (on toast for breakfast once level of love) or else I just haven't maxed my level yet.

Wow, thank you. That's incredible.

Oh also, read her newest memoir if you haven't. Best memoir I've ever read.

She got tickets for our birthdays, my husband and her love the National. When my husband saw who was opening, he couldn't wait to tell me. The National are fine, nowhere near Smith IMO. I started sending her Smith's videos, for the education I clearly failed to share, punk being my fav music. LOL

I saw her two summers ago in NYC, my daughter bought us tickets and she didn't know who Patti was. She was there for The National. She quickly learned. (Though I failed in that she didn't know.) LOL Perfect concert!

She's an incredible woman. On her Substack she shared backstage photos from the Beacon, which also was cool.

I want to play along as I read. (No harvest gathering of those apples but there would be one in the End Times.

@badhandbooks.bsky.social This is so cool.

Thank you. That part was fine, it happens, but it shouldn't happen that way. I just remember family member stories of long horrible labours, with docs who thought csections weren't necessary.
