I still haven't been over to any of those 3 faces that have been on my map for the last 5 hours but you betcha I've found the second hornet right and befriended a bunch of very innocent and normal clowns

Yeah, it almost feels like the game is daring you to avoid the progress most of the time

It definitely can get dangerously close to tedious, but even when I'm deliberately avoiding the few big map markers that exist I'm still discovering huge areas and secrets, and it feels really cool

It's especially interesting when paired with travel having quite a bit of friction to it, limited fast travel and soooo many ability-gated locks. It really pushes you to pick a path and stick with it until you're satisfied you've pressed against all the edges, but always gives you reason to return
