I feel really bad DNF-ing a book. But, I can't feel the chemistry between these two characters and it feels like (so far, I'm around 40% of this book) the attraction is physical? And they lack the ability to communicate to one another? Like, it would be ok if that was the initial hurdle? But 40% in?

Well-deserved nominations!
One of the things I am heavily against is labeling games as "girl" or "boy" games. Games are games. The beauty of them is that they can be played by any gender. Most of them are passion projects developers had, worlds built from their vision, that they want to share w/ everyone regardless of gender.

One of my favorite things to do in my videos (apart from telling stories and sharing my thoughts on random things) is acting out what I think the voices if the charactes are.

Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. A better alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform. And before y’all start, you can transfer all your Goodreads data to Storygraph so you literally have no excuse.
