Wow, someone else remembers Freakazoid!

I must've watched this many times as a kid, because I have such memories of this, that it's surprising to me how short it is, rewatching it now.

I had to acronymize them because of character limits. I didn't feel like making that one a multi-post. 😑

How are you so amazing?

Other than the first two Kirby games mentioned where Nova appears, all the rest are recent/new/upcoming Switch 2 games... so... that would narrow it down immensely.

I only play games for 1½ hours a day now (while I'm walking on the treadmill), so, while it's not many games, it will take me months.

And, once again, another spelling error I can't edit... instead of "K&tFL:N2SE+S-CW" it should be "K&tFL:NS2E+S-CW"!

I should consider doing more game reviews (I did the Super Adventure Rockman review for you in that import episode in June 2024):

But, I'll certainly be annoyed if you use that phrase in connection with anything of mine... that's how much it rubs me the wrong way. 😒

"Mutilate", not "multilate".
I hate that I have been slipping with my spelling lately in places where I can't edit my posts...

Maybe the poster for Apollo 10½: A Space Age Childhood doesn't count as a close-up...

They only started filming, not due until May 2027, so we probably won't get a trailer for quite a while... anyone even remotely following it would know that it's too early.

I hope YouTube will one day indicate, or somehow mandate that videos must be marked as such, when they are fake.

One of the first books I bought when I got serious about learning about video games intellectually is Blake Harris's "Console Wars". But I was disappointed at the incorrect details, including getting the release date of DKC wrong.
Come on, "November 21" was in everyone's faces!

I see what you did there... 😑

If you want more of that era of Nintendo, like I do, their Holiday Demonstration training videos are great.
The 1994 and 1995 ones feature Josh Wolf, who most people know from the DKC promo VHS tape.
Here's the 1995 one:

You are correct, I had cropped that .GIF out of this commercial.

It really ingrained "November 21" in my head, and that's the date of many other Nintendo releases, too.

I also like this '90s-edgy Nintendo in the late Super NES era when they were riding high (other than the Virtual Boy).

Shorter version, with just "Not on Sega, not on 32X adaptors, not on CD-ROM":
