i hate the way digital colour grading is used. the fakeness and crassness of the overpumped saturation on the left is awful. wish we had got a fury road that looked like the right hand picture.

mostly guessing here: but it could be that CCleaner removed a windows firewall exception for ComicGlass? if you go to the firewall stuff in windows settings, there should be a "Allow an app through the firewall" option that shows something like this screenshot.

check for ComicGlass in there.

huh okay. it doesnt *drop* it, because the sword doesnt have physics and gravity, just removes it from the inventory.

telliameds description says it doesnt bother to make it invisible, but as far as i could tell with both the thief gold and the 1.0 dark project miss06.osm, its set to Not Rendered ?

i guess the question i assumed the answer to was: is the strobing being caused by the two cameras? does it go away if you disable the viewmodel camera?

if so then one tactic is: use normal camera for viewmodel. increase priority and disable depth test in the material to stop it clipping into walls.
