I hear good things about Huion too. I'm not a professional artist too, that's why I thought that paying above 1k for a hobby was too much, especially now. But since art is now my only income as an unemployed graduate, I might buy a screen tablet.

A little bit of lag is normal, thats mostly the computer rendering the stroke.

In case the support is dropped, there's OpenTabletDriver, but it's a little bit finicky to setup but It gave to new life to my old Bamboo Create tablet.

Have you noticed any lag/stutter or did you encounter any software issues? The last time I had a Huion, the software was good but the hardware was bad. have seen that in the last years it got much better.

If your cintiq is quite old, you will need to download an old driver, it should work fine on Windows. If you're on Mac, that would not be possible. The newest wacom driver dropped support on quite a lot of devices.

I'm actually thinking about buying a Huion screen tablet and selling this tablet while it holds any value. I need to do some research on the quality of Huion's driver on Mac os because I tried XP Pen's and it's also bad (stuck modifier keys, etc.)
