#JurassicWorld trailer preview (we preview the previews now? I don't watch much live TV) strikes me more like Lake Placid 2

Also you gotta love how this person's misconstruing the Hayes Code for an actual representation of life for married couples in the 1950s

You are really losing it just by being challenged on the basics of the scientific method lmao. Not that I would expect less out of an astrologist, but girl you're all OVER the place.

You don't think historians use scientific reasoning? It's not about a flawlessly controlled experimental environment, it's about how you approach a question and reason. You're creating a strawman argument, and then batting it down and congratulating yourself.

What? Girl, where the hell did you get THAT from what I said? And why are you calling history or semiology non-scientific? Do you understand what the scientific method IS? You don't think historians and semiologists understand the below process?

You can cherry pick all kinds of faulty studies that support the one-time existence of Noah's Ark and its associated global flood, for instance. There is no shortage in the world of credentialed people performing shitty science with an agenda.

My bigger point with my original post was that faith is faith, and science is science - if people put faith into this, then very well, but call it what it is. At the very least, astrologists have no cause or claim to criticize major faiths.

I will be fair to you and look into all of that, but the primary issue in most pro-astrology studies is that they are neither sample controlled nor peer reviewed - they are unscientific, even if the people involved have scientific credentials. I will look into these to see if they're different.

Nothing like blaming a 16 year-old for their own death when all they did was make the only rational decision they could in the moment - you can't bicycle THROUGH parked cars.

Beautiful sight. By all reports I've read, busses are faster and everyone's getting to where they need to go, including NECESSARY vehicles, much smoother.

Fucking good fucking god - 😂 if you really need this shit explained to you, because you're so fucking stupid that it isn't absurd ON ITS FACE - then give me a point by point rebuttal of this. Sourced. Ball's in your court.
The Scientific Case against Astrology - Open The Magazine
Extensive tests, including one by India’s most famous astrophysicist, confirm that astrology is a hoax. Long before Rudolf Smit became a turncoat, and was still a believer in the predictive powers of ...

OMFG this "it's a theory! You can't discard it based on it being unknown!" is the BREAD AND BUTTER of fucking pseudoscience hacks like you the world over. IT'S BEEN STUDIED, IDIOT.

Point me to ONE modern astronomer or physicist, the two fields of ACTUAL science that astrology befouls. Point me to ONE that's published peer-reviewed studies and observations in support of the astrology. You're the one trying and failing to assert legitimacy, so the burden of evidence is yours.
