For me, 3 was a drag, 4 was amazing, and 5 was ambitious but didn't fully come together. I like that Sanderson is trying to stretch himself in some ways (there's a gay relationship, starting to break down rigid gender barriers in the world, there are climaxes that are not epic battles)
