この間、あり会話でとても役立ちそうな言葉、「思い出補正」を学びました。英語に訳すと、Nostalgia Biasとかになると思います。昔から好きなゲームの話を聞く時、その言葉がよく出てくる気がします。思い出補正という言葉を教えてくれた人に感謝します。
ちなみに、これはNostalgia Biasの例文です。

Until last month, I was playing 3 gacha games. But two of them, Zenless and Star Rail, I got sick of for various reasons and quit. Now it's just Heaven Burns Red that I still play. The dailies are very short, there aren't too many characters, the music's always great and the story's a tearjerker.

実は、先月までガチャゲーを3つもやっていました。でもその2つ、ゼンゼロと崩壊スターレイルに色々理由で飽きて、辞めました。だから今はヘブバンだけまだプレイしています。毎日やることがとても短いし、キャラクターがそんなに多くないし、音楽がいつも良いし、もちろん泣けるストーリーがあります。

ドラマとか本で英語を学んだケースを結構聞いたことがあります。その一方で、私は大分ゲームのおかげで日本語が学べました。勿論授業も受けたけど、軌跡シリーズやゼノブレイドシリーズ等のゲームで習得した文法と語彙が多いです。
高校生の時に「Angel Beats」を見ようと思っていたけど短さによって躊躇ってしまいました。でも、最近ヘブバンとのコラボに備えてやっと観ておきました。今は大人だからこそか、よりよくストーリーと主題が鑑賞できた気がします。

高校生の時に「Angel Beats」を見ようと思っていたけど短さによって躊躇ってしまいました。でも、最近ヘブバンとのコラボに備えてやっと観ておきました。今は大人だからこそか、よりよくストーリーと主題が鑑賞できた気がします。
