That made me think of the Napalm Death shirt where the swastika is the first thing anyone will notice on the front

I haven't been updating my media thread, but I watched 32 movies in May. Movies are pretty cool.

Soken did just recently say that working on 14 and 16 at the same time was really rough www.pcgamesn.com/final-fantas...

A cold and angry movie. Yet another masterpiece by Scorsese.

It's Macbeth. The way it's shot, the sets, the soundtrack, and the sound design do a lot.

The train scene is incredible and Doyle is a great neo-noir protagonist. He's so awful.

Movies used to be good *sip*

I'm always saying this

Combines genres shockingly well. It's really hilarious while also managing to do tension and fun action and feeling like a proper neo-noir mystery.

Now this is a fucking thriller. Extremely tense. So brutal and graphic that it was hard to watch. I love movies. And feminism.
And Mexican beer. I can't not watch The Substance after this even though I know I'm gonna have a bad time.

Outland is a fun platformer that keeps introducing new mechanics and then ends. This is my first time playing a Housemarque game, which I felt obligated to do as a Finn.

It's fun and well directed. There's a script. It justifies the presence of the things that are in the movie, kind of.

Psycho is one of those very influential old movies that still accomplish their intended effect. Everything's just right.

It's very real and feels very hopeless. Léaud is great.

Cassavetes' vision is so strong that you'd be forgiven for thinking the movie's just sloppily made. It's a strange experience. It's almost like jazz improvisation the way it's often unclear what's happening or why, but you come out of it feeling like it was worthwhile

Media thread catch-up: I played some PS2 games

Incredible

It's Nosferatu again. I love how Eggers's movies look.

The structure makes it feel like a sequence of two different interesting and tense dramas.

Toshiro Mifune and Tatsuya Nakadai look weird dressed in normal clothes instead of as jidaigeki characters.

Blue Velvet in a movie theater is pretty incredible. The sound design is a big part of what makes it so weird and disturbing and it benefits from being very loud.

I watched a bunch of stuff. Birdman is great and Citizen Kane is Citizen Kane.
