TL;DR: Braided rivers are awesome and you should get one.
Looking at what I wrote for midwinter #SecretSantaAoNZ and yeah, I still like liquorice/licorice/however you spell it. Beads or charms that I could hang from chainmail earrings (see pics for examples). Stuff I can be creative with.

Also! Chainmail jewellery in custom colour-schemes is a wonderfully distinctive #SecretSantaAoNZ gift and I am happy to wrap/personalise for you, etc.

Range of prices available but for a light touch consider keyring (felt.co.nz/listing/5963...) or trio earrings (felt.co.nz/listing/5555...)
Chainmail keyring
A bright and cheerful accessory to keep your keys together! Chain is 5cm long + keyring, in a doubled-up version of Byzantine weave. Or hang it on a bag for a splash of colour. Available in rainbow or...

Dear #SecretSantaAoNZ

I like blues, greens and purples. I prefer darker chocolate to lighter. I like cufflinks and ties but don't wear them as often as I mean to. I like vases but I'm not allowed to buy any more but I don't have a rule against receiving them... 👀 I like native timber. And...

I try to spread a bit of positivity on here or at least not doompost, but by crikey it's all a bit grim, eh?

Will try to come up with some hints for Secret Santa later on today.

GST, income tax, the actual cost to produce the product, Shopify fees, AfterPay fees if you use AfterPay, packaging costs, advertising costs, etc. It’s a lot.
When you go to buy from an individual creator this season please remember the price at checkout (in person or online) is not what they will see reflected in their account

Fees, immediate taxes, and future taxes cut what they would make often in half

We price for that, so please be understanding!

That was majestic timing. The rain started really coming down *just* as I got in my car after the market to drive away. Had nice clear weather for market then got to watch the lightning all the way home. Success!

Oh hello new followers! I make pretty chainmail jewellery at reverb.felt.co.nz, for those who like unusual and distinctive gifts.

I also am really glad it's raining today because now I don't have to water the garden.

If I had a dollar for everyone wandering around the office in a cardigan complaining about the heat I'd have two dollars, but it's silly that there's two of them.

My watch needs a new battery so of course in the meantime I have put it in a ‘safe place’, i.e. fuck knows where.

Trying to organise my family for a shared dinner is A Mission at best, and this time I am appalled to realise that the one with the most commitments is actually me.

My immunisation records only go back to 1997, I know I had immunisations before then. WELP guess we just rock on up and ask for whatever they'll give me.
