i feel it. LiD was one of my faves for years, its a huge downer

the first game had such a strong visual identity and soundtrack that they pretty clearly knew their audience would care. incredibly deliberate rug pull sadly

I cannot overstate how special the Let It Die soundtrack was. It is also nigh impossible to get in any legal capacity outside of Youtube, so keep the tapes circulating.

The only issue I have with it beyond that is that you end up with 100 tracks all with the same title but by different bands.

there are a ton of roguelikes that's not the problem, its just a sequel to a game i loved that had an amazing sense of aesthetic. the art and music and style carried that experience.

dude nothing i post spreads. Let it Die is just a game that was personally importanr to me. There are a million fantastic roguelikes these days

oh yeah i know theyre not but its still a sequel to thing i love and the hope that people from the old project were still there exists even without the studio, people move around. but yeah it sucks so much ass.
