Close to beating Atelier Ryza 2.

Starting this series with the fan favourite and it’s been a really nice change. Not perfect and I did lose steam a bit gameplay wise, but I just adored the comfy vibes of it and it’s a world I can’t wait to return to for the next entries!

By the way, if there is one game that I might also do sometime soon, it’s likely Ys X Proud Nordics. I didn’t beat the Japanese version, but I feel obligated to do a full impressions video on it given how popular my initial video has been.

No, seriously. This game is cinematic, and is undoubtedly the example RPG’s of this era should strive to be. It has some of my favourite turn based combat mechanics, an incredible soundtrack, tons of content I barely saw by the end, and a story that is actually masterfully told.
