I ‘think’ my copy of Complete Madness has the slip inside it for ordering take it or leave it on VHS. If memory serves it’s like £25 which for 1982 seems like insane money

It’s also crackers in my opinion to buy one so old. That model is early 90s - better to get one that’s 10 years younger if you’re just gonna stick a toslink in it.

That is crackers. Philips of that vintage were well made, parts are easily obtained - but I still wouldn’t pay north of £250 for it.

That’s weird if the popular ones are significantly more - considering if they’re being used to spit out a digital signal to a dac. Just buy a new one.
