*Stolen Future is a work of fiction. Any resemblance between its dystopian themes and the times in which we find ourselves living is not coincidental.

Stolen Future is my third album release as Hadamard Gate. This project has become the one that I enjoy composing and producing the most; it best captures the transportive and moody, simultaneously alien & intimate listening experience I aspire to craft.

Working from there, I added single take performances of ambient synthesizer soundscapes, providing organic and evolving (and at times unnerving) undercurrents.

Yeah... I'm not holding out hope that this batch of LLMs has any hope of eg. generating meaningful insights from lit reviews. Still, a fair critique of evaluating LLMs this way is that ChatGPT isn't a dad, so when it tries to tell these jokes, that's a faux pas.

💯! The Clojure scientific stack has become one of my secret super powers. Meanwhile, Python is being turned into TypeScript-lite by a bunch of zealots trying to "fix" the things that made it successful.

of course, that's an ideal case; environmental signals are more likely to push people into local minima where they're just continuously gambling on getting working code with the next prompt.

don't mean this as personal criticism of anyone; I recognize the business realities of our industry. but is there a silver lining? given that coding vendor glue while context switching doesn't exactly push devs to improve — can LLMs drain the shallows and free up dev time for more edifying work?
